Calling all trans artists! Submit your art!
The Ottawa Trans Library recently got a grant from The City of Ottawa to showcase some art, and get y’all paid for it!
We are aiming to host 2 solo shows, 2 paired shows, and 2 group shows (up to 5 artists in each group show)!
Submissions close on June 1st, 2026. Info sessions May 7 at 6pm at the OTL, & May 13 at 6pm online.

As well, we have funding to host some workshops alongside the exhibitions (for example, artist talk, creative workshop, etc…)
And who could forget snacks #transdayofsnacks – opening/closing parties will always have snacks!

La Bibliothèque trans d’Ottawa a récemment obtenu une subvention de la Ville d’Ottawa pour exposer des œuvres d’art et vous rémunérer!
Nous prévoyons d’organiser 2 expos individuelles, 2 expos en duo et 2 expos collectives (jusqu’à 5 artistes par expo collective)!
Date limite de soumission: 1er juin 2026.
Séances d’information le 7 mai à 18 h à l’OTL et le 13 mai à 18 h en ligne.

De plus, nous disposons de fonds pour faire de la programmation (par exemple, des rencontres avec des artistes, des ateliers créatifs, etc.)
Et n’oublions pas les collations #transdayofsnacks: les soirées d’ouverture et de clôture seront toujours accompagnées de collations!
