“Tea for Tara” is a year-long monthly program at the Ottawa Trans Library for gathering, sharing & publishing of Trans stories & history.
A year-long, community-rooted storytelling program, centred on monthly gatherings where participants share, witness, and preserve lived experiences. The program functions as a living, breathing archive, shaped by personal truth, collective care, and trans cultural expression.
The first episode featured a lively conversation on Ottawa Trans History and the Ottawa Trans Community. Facilitator Blue Petties was in conversation with Ottawa Trans Library Founder, Tara Sypniewski and Gender Mosaic Member, Zelda Marshall.
